Dr. William Deverell

Professor of History at USC and Director of the Huntington-USC Institute on California and the West, Deverell has authored and edited numerous studies on the history of 19th and 20th century American West.

Dr. Deverell received his undergraduate degree in American Studies from Stanford University and an MA and Ph.D. in History from Princeton University.

William Deverell and his wife, Jennifer Watts, live in Pasadena with their two children, Helen and John.
