Speaker: Jennifer Harris Trosper

An aerospace engineer with JPL/NASA since 1990, Jennifer Trosper began work on JPL’s Mars projects in 1994, becoming Mission Manager for the Spirit Spacecraft in 2004. Currently she serves as Lead Flight System Engineer for the SMAP earth orbiter, which is set to launch in 2015.

A frequent keynote speaker, Jennifer is an MIT graduate, Academic All-American in Volleyball and 2001 inductee into the Academic All-American Hall of Fame. She holds an MS in Aeronautical Engineering from USC and was honored at the White House with the NASA Leadership and Achievement Awards for her work on the Mars Pathfinder and Rover missions.

Jennifer lives in Santa Clarita with her husband, F-16 pilot, Lt. Col. Randy Trosper, USAF, and their three children Jacob (1), Jessica (4), and step-son Ryan (10).
