Our Purpose
Working Faith's purpose is to equip companies and non-profits to advance God's purposes with the best practices of Christian enterprise in strategy, management, character development, and leadership.
Our Vision
We work to see people, products, and services transformed through the advancement of God's purposes by client companies.
Our People
Each Working Faith coach is an experienced and capable professional, continuously adding current knowledge to his or her real world leadership experience. Each coach is yielded to the Holy Spirit, trusting Him to mediate his or her work with you and your company. We do not bring a religious or sectarian perspective; rather, through collaborative faithfulness to God and His Word, we aim for organizational and business success that will yield lasting results to God's glory, both within and beyond your organization.
Our team is experienced with service, manufacturing, distribution and technology companies, ranging from start-ups to $100M+ firms and non-profits. Our coaches offer strategic planning, executive coaching, merger and acquisition strategy, team-building, and character training, with individual specializations in differing market segments.
Our Field
There are more than 6.7 million people employed today in Los Angeles and Orange County, CA, from diverse backgrounds and speaking many languages (March, 2007; http://www.bls.gov/news.release/cewqtr.nr0.htm).
To meet these and other 21st Century challenges, companies will require more than good leadership, they will need good character in their people. Fortunately, character is a developable resource. Good work flows from good character along with the kind of corporate culture that makes working together both profitable and satisfying.
Our Story
Working Faith was formed in 2000 as a business partnership when Joyce and Greg Millikan responded to God's call to create a Christian service provider to advance His purposes in the business sector. God has graciously guided Joyce to build and lead our growing team of Christ-centered coaches. Greg, a practicing attorney, chairs the Working Faith Board. Working Faith was incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in 2004.
